The “About” section

AKA, the part where I’m meant to write something magnetic in the third person… Well, no promises.

Once upon a time, I was an aerospace engineer (Boeing) before I tripped my way out of that, and fell head first into small business. While it’s a much more caffeinated existence, it’s been a great journey so far, founding and growing businesses in retail and the health space.

Now I work with talented coaches and creative business owners who are ‘getting off the fence’ and going full time.

Outside of work, I love spearfishing, training (used to own a gym) and surfing. My approach is brutally practical (some might say “thick-skulled” even), but also exciting and driven by curiosity.

Look, I suck at Tik Tok, instagram hashtags, and the latest Facebook ads changes. So instead I help you humanise your business and get to the root level of what it means to offer a great service, and grow sustainably.

I’m obscenely adamant that you carve your own path with your business (AND fall in love with it), and my job is to help you do that, and to help you think differently about your marketing, sales and delivery.

There are no quick tactics in my work, and I actively repel short term thinkers. (This includes the “all in.” books.)

I live in NSW, Australia, with my wife Ruby, and a way-too-energised English staffy. I’m a small business advocate, and I also like to draw. I satisfy this side of me through the drawings in the books.
